Fundraising Subcommittee formed
Bids for equipment submitted to Radio Gemini and Astra Zeneca
Agreed that members should be reminded to feedback their views via Charlotte Parkinson and Anna Howlett. Charlotte to be guided around by Bev Tout at lunchtime on Thursdays to meet everyone.
Issues morning to be re-instated each term

Donations of £800 received
Sponsored swim planned for Xmas by 10 year old Jacques Andrew with current pledges of £284. Penn has set up website for Jacques linked to ACE site.
Future funding shortfall discussed. Meetings arranged for early next term to assess Carers needs, set out fundraising strategy, and meet with TDA and consultants about social enterprise.
Classes to be encouraged to seek their own funding
Chair (Chris Wardley) to contact LSC, Ministers and MP’s to ask for review of government funding to ensure greater amounts of health monies are available.
Review of Taxi costs deferred until AGM. Torbay has increased tariff to RS Taxis so latest ACE bill now almost £2k.
Ian to draft letter to pharmaceutical companies to seek funding from them.
Rob to request support from Town Council and Police Community Partnership.
Members to be asked to consider legacies to ACE.
Anna to seek support for a Friends of ACE group, who will also create a regular newsletter for the web site.
Class fees to remain as present but ask members at the AGM about increasing swimming fees to a premium rate as there is so much demand and this is the most expensive course.
Charlotte to seek a research student from Exeter or Plymouth University to look at the impact of ACE on member’s health.
Concerns over Sports mobility class offering prizes.
Consideration of remaking Video at cost of £1,100 and seeking Awards for All funding.
