A big Thornton’s Chocolate Easter Egg and a large fluffy cuddly Easter Bunny were just two of the many prizes on offer in the ACE Easter raffle.

We continued our effort to raise sufficient funds to purchase a Braille embossing machine. The machine will help our visually impaired adult students by converting text from a PC into Braille, printing photos and spreadsheets etc.

Thanks to the local businesses and shops who generously donated prizes we raised a further £141 towards the fund. In the continuing struggle to raise funds for the group other events being planned, include a big summer raffle.

Tickets on sale from 12^th June £1.00 per strip to be drawn at the Bar B Q.!!

A stall at the Cow Town Carnival – we will be selling plants grown by the  Gardening Class and pottery, willow work and crafts all made by members.
