  • Potential MP’s expressed support for ACE prior to the election
  • The urn is repaired
  • Invitation to Princess Royal to open the garden to be followed up
  • 3 subcommittees proposed to cover fundraising, staffing and curriculum
  • Funds donated  by Community Partnership, Wakeham Trust and Brixham Town Council
  • Bids submitted to Tesco, Rosalind Hicks, B & Q, Santander and Comic Relief
  • The Naval Cadets to help prep the garden for the Open Day
  • Wish list of item complied for all classes
  • Student Reps contesting seat at AGM to prepare 50 words on why they would like the post
  • Ideas for new autumn classes included IT, Bird watching, Photography and Music Appreciation
  • Summer holiday activities would be a series of trips organised by the care workers.
  • Members may re-instate raffles and cake sales of Thursdays
  • Next meeting 15/06/10 at 7pm
